Trying to come up with a new way to advertise their bubble gum Gang Gum teamed up with Brazilian agency ageisobar to come up with the chewable pencil. Taking the habit that people have to chew their pencils (or pens) when they’re in a stressful situation or thinking hard they decided to make them more tasty by removing the eraser on the top of normal pencils and putting their chewing gum instead. They then handed them out in schools when finals were coming up. Good way to get people sampling in a different way and hits their target audience perfectly. Though I don’t know how the schools felt about it, we weren’t allowed to chew gum in school so bubble gum during exams would definitely be a nono!
