the new Volvo has so much hidden technology or maybe because the they just wanted to create some extra buzz at the show, either way, the Volvo X-Ray App that was released at the Geneva Auto Show is a pretty cool way for potential customers to look under the skin of the new Volvo V40, complete with a 360-degree feature experience available for iOS devices.

Facebook Testing New “Find Friends Nearby” Mobile Feature That Could Make Business Cards something form the PAST

Facebook has been getting busy on the mobile front recently, and its latest move is aimed at hooking people up in the real world and removing the friction of staying in touch with people you have just met.

This is a spin out of the app Friendshake that Facebook acquired a few months ago; the acquired team of three working on rolling this out. Rather than replicate current technology which helps show which of your current friends are nearby (like Facebook’s own check-in feature), this is aimed at helping you to friend people when you are out and about using Facebook on your mobile.

Think of meeting a girl in a bar or being at a conference where we currently go through the clunky process of sharing phone numbers or business cards. This app will allow people to add new friends on Facebook with two simple clicks as well as viewing who in the same place you are.

Guaraná Antarctica -esqueca sua X namorada ( soft drink from Brazil prevent you from calling back your X )

Here’s a fun app idea from Guaraná Antarctica, who recently launched the Ex-Lover Blocker app for iPhone, which gives friends the tools they need to help their heartbroken mate get over an ex-girlfriend/boyfriend.

The app, created by DDB Brazil, blocks the ex’s phone number so that the heartbroken mate can’t call their ex, if they do try and make the call their friends will be informed so that they can intervene and save their friend from making this mistake. The app also releases reminders of facts that caused their friend to suffer. If, even with all these incentives, they decide to make the call anyway, the app posts to Facebook that the mate is about to call their ex. This is a fun way for the brand to engage with their target audience. Do you like the idea?

Lazy to take note in a meeting ? there is an #IPhone #App for that

iPhone Screenshot 1

Now this is a great solution (have not tried it yet) but i am one of those people who really really hate taking notes ,even though i know its extremely important and it have many times paid for not doing that . but thanks to Steve jobs and Iphone Apps. it became much more easier and interesting. through lifhacker i found this

All you have to do is open Dunno, jot down a quick note, then wait for a few moments. Each note will be automatically augmented with relevant images, web links, Wikipedia articles, videos, and more. It won’t attempt to outright answer a question like Wolfram Alpha or Siri, but it might save you a few moments of searching through various web services.

Your notes and links are automatically synced across the Mac, iPad, and iPhone applications, all of which are free from their respective app stores.

Did Some Jerk parked his car and blocked you ? this is what should happen

I have to say i love the COLD hursh Russian way of dealing with this annoying issue. i have been in this situation in Kuwait and seen people in Sao pualo also doing that. and this is one hell of way to stop that from happening .   laws in Russia show no mercy for jerks. If you park in the wrong spot, if you park without giving a damn about other people this is what you get: ostracism 2.0. Russian magazine The Village has created a free app that allows to take pictures of wrongly parked cars, recognize car number plates, the car model and color. The data is streamed live to banner ads that are targeted through IP addresses to locations where these cars were parked, exposing the owners to the public shame.

#Justbeamit Makes Transferring Large Files Super-Easy

When you have a large file or group of large files that you want to send to someone, but you don’t want to clog up your Dropbox account and you don’t have time to just drive over to your friend’s house with a USB drive, Justbeamit is a new web service that lets you upload a file, get a private link, and send it to a friend. When they open it, a private peer-to-peer download session will start and they’ll grab the file from you over the web.

Justbeamit makes the process easy on purpose: all you have to do is drag and drop the file you want to share into your browser window, and the webapp will give you the URL you can send to your friend. You’ll be able to watch the progress while your file is uploaded, and when it’s finished, you’ll see a “waiting” indicator, meaning the service is waiting for the recipient to download the file. When they visit the link, Justbeamit opens the connection between you and the recipient and lets them download the file.

The World’s First Invisible Ad by AXE

seriously innovative digital work done in /Austrália ,the world’s first invisible ad installation using special LCD screens that can only been seen with polarised lenses. People passing by a street in Sydney were handed polarised glasses which unlocked the content of the invisible screens, upon which the visuals couldn’t be seen by the naked eye. And in typical Lynx fashion, the content was out there, with couples making out and random dogs swimming in a room of water!
