Jejum

Ramadan é um tempo de reflexão espiritual, melhoria e aumento da devoção e adoração. Dos muçulmanos é esperado que coloquem mais esforço em seguir os ensinamentos do Islã. O jejum começa ao amanhecer e termina ao pôr do sol. Além de se abster de comer e beber, os muçulmanos também aumentam a contenção, como a abstenção de relações sexuais e fala pecaminosa e comportamento inadequado. Durante o jejum, a relação sexual é proibida, assim como comer e beber, e resistência de todas as tentações é incentivada. O ato de jejum é feito para redirecionar o coração longe de atividades mundanas, tendo por finalidade limpar a alma, libertando-a de impurezas nocivas. Ramadan também ensina os muçulmanos a melhor prática de auto-disciplina, auto-controle, sacrifício e empatia por aqueles que são menos afortunados;. Estimulando ações de generosidade e caridade (zakat).

Torna-se obrigatório para os muçulmanos a começar o jejum quando chegam à puberdade, contanto que eles sejam saudáveis​​, sãos e não tenham deficiência ou doenças. Isenções ao jejum são de viagem, doença, menstruação, idade avançada, gravidez e amamentação. No entanto, muitos muçulmanos com condições médicas insistem em jejum para satisfazer suas necessidades espirituais, e profissionais da saúde devem trabalhar com seus pacientes para chegar a um terreno comum. Os profissionais devem acompanhar de perto as pessoas que decidem a persistir com o jejum

Aqui está uma idéia super legal de Guaraná Antarctica, que recentemente lançou o app Blocker (X- namorada)  para o iPhone, que dá amigos as ferramentas que precisam para ajudar o seu companheiro de coração partido superar um ex-girlfriend/boyfriend. O aplicativo, criado pela DDB Brasil, blocos de números de telefone do ex para que o companheiro de coração partido não pode chamar seu ex.

Here’s a fun app idea from Guaraná Antarctica, who recently launched the Ex-Lover Blocker app for iPhone, which gives friends the tools they need to help their heartbroken mate get over an ex-girlfriend/boyfriend.

The app, created by DDB Brazil, blocks the ex’s phone number so that the heartbroken mate can’t call their ex, if they do try and make the call their friends will be informed so that they can intervene and save their friend from making this mistake. The app also releases reminders of facts that caused their friend to suffer. If, even with all these incentives, they decide to make the call anyway, the app posts to Facebook that the mate is about to call their ex. This is a fun way for the brand to engage with their target audience. Do you like the idea?

Coca-Cola’s Latest Stunt “over a million person in the stadium”

Coca Cola is well known for their various exciting real-world marketing stunts, their latest features a unique truck that has been travelling all over Argentina and is set to go to the football World Cup in Brazil in 2014. The concept behind the truck is that it travels all over the country and asks football fans to record their voice singing along to a popular chant. This is kept on file and then meshed into one big song that gets played when the truck drives in to a stadium at a big game.So instead of  only being 50,000 fans physically in the stadium, Coca-cola is able to create a sense of community and bring over a million people from around the country . amazing idea

Brazilian Gol Airlines: Valentine’s Flight Seat Challenge

Brazil’s Gol Airlines created a simple Facebook competition to grow their online community and raise brand awareness in the highly competitive airline market. Based on the insight that a trip is the most romantic Valentine’s gift that you can get they turned the Valentine’s weekend into a competition on their Facebook page with ‘Valentine’s flight’.  Throughout the weekend a series of images showing empty seats were uploaded to the Gol’s Facebook page, before every image a wall post would hint that the photo was about to appear. Users were encouraged to refresh the page until the image was posted. The first users to see the image and type in the seat number as a comment won a pair of return tickets to any of GOL’s destinations. As a result, the airline’s Facebook community grew from 12,000 to over 200,000, a great result in a short period of time.
